Unless the weather goes back to 21 degrees and rain I think we might have the tows running on weekends through the school holidays - right up to Oldina's turn in three weeks. It was great to be able to help dig out the tows and get them running this morning - but I'm glad we weren't still up the top when the gale force blizzard.

Hubert again showed great leadership by getting up to Oldina in the deep snow on Friday (just before the road was closed) and had to navigate three fallen trees and 18" of snow on the.

As of 2pm today (tues) there's 50cm of dry fresh snow on the oldina balcony. Karen estimates approx. 30-40cm has stuck across the ski field. Yee Haa!! 31.8.08 The new Members Bulletin Board is now live! After the spam problems that we experienced with the old bulletin board, I pulled it off the site. It was an old product and poorly supported.

Ski.com.au: NZ Reports . Working Bee - 24th-25th March 2012. A good 20cm of snow covered the trail outside of Oldina when we arrived. After a chilly evening, we awoke to more snow and a beautiful vista, the trees and bushes laden with fresh snow upwards of 30cm deep. A concerted phone session on Andrew's part advised everyone travelling up.

Oldina Ski Club is a small club lodge with approximately 120 members. It has been in operation as a co-operative since 1960 and caters for a maximum of 14 members and guests during the winter season. Our aim is to promote the enjoyment of and participation in winter snow sports. The focus is on a friendly atmosphere that a small lodge can provide.
